Who we are

Photo of Sofia & Poppy goes here

We're Sofia and Poppy, two high school seniors from Los Angeles. We started Techly because our own grandparents kept getting locked out, scammed, and stuck, and nobody had the patience to sit down and actually show them.

We do. Same helper every visit, no jargon, no rushing.

  • Background-checked
  • First contact is always with the family
  • We never handle your bank logins; we sit beside you while you do
  • Visits at home, at the senior center, or over Zoom

Give your parents a patient grandkid on call.

Questions families ask

My mom doesn't want help. Will this work?

Sometimes not, and we'd rather tell you than take your money. We'll start with a phone call to you, then a low-key first visit. If she's not into it, we'll say so.

Do you fix broken screens or hardware?

No. We teach, set up, and troubleshoot. If something is physically broken, we'll tell you where to take it and help with the new device after.

Is this safe?

We're background-checked, we never ask for passwords to banking or email, and the first visit can happen with you present or at a public place like the senior center. The rules are the same for every family.

What if something urgent happens at night?

Texts are answered during our hours, weekday afternoons and Saturdays. We're not an emergency line. For a suspected scam in progress, the fastest move is to hang up and call the bank directly.

Can we do this over Zoom?

Yes, for members and for families outside our area. In person works better for the first visit.
